Sandhan Valley is also called as the  "Valley of shadows ", which is a geographical wonder in Maharashtra. The trek includes chilling water crossing and navigating through huge boulders and rocks. It is a one day trek with moderate difficulty. In recent times there was a movie shooting of  Tanaji at this location.

Itineraries

Day 1

Time : 11:00 pm

Departure

Departure from Pune via private transport.

Day 2

Time : 5:00 am

Reach Base Village

05.00 am - Reach base village. Freshen up & have breakfast. Post breakfast start the trek.

Time : 8:00 am

Rappelling

After some time of trekking, we reach the Valley opening from where we do our first adventure Rappelling. The trek continues after rappelling. We begin our descend in to the valley. This is a reverse trek (descend and then ascend) On the way we have Water crossings and lots of fun.

Time : 12:30 pm

Reach the Trek end point

We will reach a point where the valley opens up to a nice view, this is the trek end point. Rest for some time, have some snacks (carried by participants) and begin return journey. Now we have to climb to the top as this is a reverse trek.

Time : 2:30 pm

Lunch

Reach at the base & have Lunch. After which we start return Journey to Pune.
Evening Tea and heavy snacks on the way.

Time : 11:00 pm

Reach Pune. Timing may differ based on traffic conditions.

1. A Backpack / trekking sack. (Please avoid zola or sling bag as it becomes difficult to trek or rappel with them)
2. Minimum 3 litres of water.
3. Packed dry snacks.
4. Torch with extra batteries. (Just in case)
5. Personal medication (if required). Basic first aid will be available.
6. Cap & rain cover
7. Extra pair of clothes to change.
8. Camera (Optional)
9. Shoes are must - Good quality trekking /sports.
10.Chappals/Sandals for use after trek (Optional)
** Double pack your valuables in plastic bags to avoid getting wet.
